OrionIR® family
TEC version
A thermoelectrically controlled build that holds the sample path at a set temperature between 15 and 55 °C, for chemistry whose spectrum moves with temperature or a stream that must not be allowed to cool in the cell.

When this is the right one
Two cases. The first is chemistry whose band positions or intensities shift enough with temperature that an uncontrolled cell adds noise to the model — holding the path at a set point removes that variable before it reaches the chemometrics. The second is a stream that must not cool on its way through the cell: a melt, a concentrated solution near its solubility limit, anything that would deposit if the temperature dropped.
Does your measurement move with temperature?
Describe the stream and the temperature it has to be held at, and we will tell you whether the TEC build is the one to specify.
