Solving measurement challenges

Founded in April 2023 as a spin-off from A*STAR's Innovation & Enterprise division, Paeonia Innovations is the R&D arm of the Paeonia Group, based in Singapore. We take products from idea to commercialisation, leveraging expertise across semiconductors, AI and chemistry.

Our mission

The world's most compact chemical analysis

We are creating the world's most compact solutions to enable accurate, repeatable, robust and real-time chemical analysis — leaving time for customers to focus on getting their job done.

A focused team of ten, including experienced consultants, led by Dr. Lennon Lee — formerly Head of Department at A*STAR's Institute of Microelectronics. The team is international and consists of leading PhDs from Stanford University and other top institutions. In our first year we soft-launched the OrionIR® Mid-IR Spectrometer, which has since been field-tested under industrial conditions in North America, South America, Europe and Asia.

We are active members of CPACT, the Centre for Process Analytics and Control Technology, and of PIPS, the Pharma Innovation Programme Singapore. Paeonia Innovations is part of Paeonia Group.

We believe in being respectful to each other, where the best idea prevails and processes serve their purpose.

What we hold ourselves to

  • Exceptional quality.
  • A customer-centric approach.
  • Innovation and expertise.
  • Being transparent and honest.
  • A proven track record.

Careers

Careers

We recruit mainly through the universities, across chemistry, photonics, embedded systems and data science. Internships run year round rather than in a single intake.

    Internship — chemistry & chemometrics

We take interns through the universities, year round rather than in a single intake. The work is real instrument work: running samples on the OrionIR®, building and validating calibration models, and writing up what the data actually showed. Suited to students in chemistry, chemical engineering, chemometrics, data science or a related field. Tell us what you have measured and what you would like to measure.
