Test the technology on your own process samples before you commit
Feasibility is a property of your chemistry, not of the instrument. Where it makes sense we measure your samples first, and where it fits we loan the instrument so the evaluation happens on your process rather than on ours.
What we need from you to start
- The composition of the stream, including the components you are not trying to measure.
- The concentration range you need to resolve, and the accuracy that makes the measurement useful.
- Temperature, pressure and whether solids are present.
- The reference method you use today, and its reproducibility.
If the answer is that mid-IR cannot see your analyte at the concentration you need, we would rather say so at this stage.
