Who we are

This website is operated by Paeonia Innovations Pte Ltd (UEN 202316554R), a company incorporated in Singapore. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Paeonia Innovations Pte Ltd.

We handle personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act. If you are contacting us from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we handle your data on the basis of your consent and of our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry form, request a datasheet or book a demo, we collect the details you enter — typically your name, company, email address, phone number and the description of your measurement problem. Datasheet requests require a corporate email address.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records standard technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and the site that referred you. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for this. These tools set cookies in your browser.

We do not collect special categories of personal data through this website, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

What we use it for

  • Responding to your enquiry, sending the document you requested, and following up on it.
  • Assessing whether our instruments fit your application, which may involve discussing the technical detail you provided internally.
  • Understanding which pages are useful, so we can improve the site.
  • Meeting our legal and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Who else sees it

We use third-party services to run the website and to communicate with you, and your data passes through them: our website hosting provider, our email delivery provider, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, and the scheduling tool used for consultation bookings. Each processes data on our instructions.

Where an enquiry concerns a product we distribute on behalf of a manufacturing partner, we may share the technical detail of your enquiry with that partner in order to answer it. We will tell you when that is the case.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and lead records for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and to maintain a record of our business relationship, and then no longer than our legal obligations require. Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting configured in Google Analytics.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also withdraw your consent to being contacted at any time. Write to us using the address on the contact page and we will respond within the timeframe the applicable law allows.

When you first arrive we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland nothing analytical is set until you accept; elsewhere analytics runs unless you decline. You can change that answer whenever you like — reopen the cookie choice — and you can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Declining does not affect your ability to use the site or to submit an enquiry.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page. Material changes will be noted here rather than made silently.

Questions about your data

Write to us and we will answer. A request to delete your data is not treated as a sales opportunity.
